マンハッタンの北側にあるインウッドヒルパークという大きな自然公園で、春をみつけました。

植物の種類に詳しいわけではないのですが、その公園は「都会の喧騒を離れて」という言葉がこれほどマッチする景色が他にないほどに自然にあふれており、桃色やすみれ色のお花を見つけてはうれしくなりました。

 

ハドソン川を見渡しながら、綺麗な空気を吸えることってこんなにありがたいことだったんだなあと実感したひとときでした。

I am not a flower master and I don’t know their names, but I found cute flowers that were trying to tell us that spring is almost there. A walk in the quiet Inwood Hill Park made me realize how much I appreciate nature, especially living in NYC.

If you need fresh air and pretty flowers to clean up your mind, take the subway to 207th street and you’ll be surprised how much greens you can see in somewhere close to the city!
