アメリカ人が始めたNYのクリエイティブすぎる日本料理屋さんにはないような日本ならではの食べ物が、ときどき恋しくなることがあります。

そんな中昨日行った萩というお店、いわゆる居酒屋メニューがそろっていておつまみから日本酒までとってもおいしくいただきました。

日本からNYに遊びにきて、日本食恋しい！てなったときにはぜひ。

Vinegared mackerel, nicely rolled egg, Japanese style grilled salmon, tasty sake — these are what I occasionally miss from Japan.

I tried Japanese restaurant called Hagi the other day, and I had these great Izakaya-style (Japanese tavern style) food there.

The menu has a variety of Japanese food, and they taste pretty authentic – I recommend it if you want real Japanese food!
