Ansonia Quartet

From left: Sumire Hirotsuru, violin; Isabel Kwon, cello; Meagan Turner, viola; Byungchan Lee, violin

The Ansonia Quartet was formed at The Juilliard School in September 2016, when the four members met during their first days of graduate school and immediately bonded over a mutual passion for string quartet. Comprised of musicians hailing from Canada, the United States, and Japan, Ansonia Quartet has been selected as a group for the Honors Chamber Music Program and Gluck Community Service Fellowship for 2017/18 academic year at Juilliard. The quartet has raised $10,000+ on a crowdfunding platform to hold a Japan Tour in August 2017, which ended up with a huge success. Please check out our upcoming performances below!
