The view from DUMBO, Brooklyn – Manhattan looked very blue with the windows of tall buildings reflecting the cloud-less blue sky, which also made the river look perfectly blue, and I, in a blue dress and a blue cardigan, was just blended in the scenery!

Anyways, here is my plan for summer break! I’m traveling to three continents this summer:

Now – Mid July: New York (U.S.) for work + Boston and NJ for performances
End of July – Mid August: Okayama and Oita (Japan) for Summer in JAPAN
Mid August: An exciting project TBA
End of August – September: Helsinki (Finland) & Stockholm (Sweden) for Juilliard Orchestra Joint Tour with Sibelius Academy

Then the second year of school starts again! I’m so excited to visit Scandinavian countries for the first time with Juilliard musicians! And, of course, looking forward to the fifth year of SIJ, the summer camp I founded in my hometown!

今日のカバー写真は、ブルックリン側から撮ったマンハッタン。マンハッタンの高層ビルの窓が、真っ青な空を反射してすごく青くて、それをさらに反射する川がまた完璧な水色で、さらに青いワンピースとカーディガンを着た私が溶け込んでしまうというすごくブルーな写真になりました。

さて、今年の夏休みは盛りだくさん！大陸を４回くらいまたぎます。

７月中旬まで：ニューヨーク（＆演奏でボストンとニュージャージーにも）
７月下旬から８月中旬：岡山と大分でサマーキャンプSummer in JAPAN
（今年でついに５年目、大分は引き続き小中高生の受講生募集中です！）
８月中旬：楽しみなプロジェクトを練り中・・・！からのニューヨーク
８月下旬から９月初旬：ヘルシンキとストックホルム（フィンランドとスウェーデン）でジュリアードオーケストラのツアー♡
９月初旬：ニューヨークで学校の修士２年目がスタート！

念願の、北欧！！！にジュリアードの仲間と行けるのが楽しみすぎです。現地のシベリウスアカデミーという学校との合同コンサートで演奏します♩そしてSummer in JAPANで今年の受講生のみなさんに会えるのも楽しみ！素敵な夏になりそうです。
