昨夜。今年初、アメリカ初、の花火を目撃してしまいました。たまたま川沿いを歩いていたら、遠くでどーんと音が。対岸のニュージャージー州の花火でした。

日本の夏祭りでの花火は毎年みてましたが、アメリカでもけっこう派手な花火、あるんだなあーと。思いましたが、やっぱりなんだかんだ地元大分の花火大会が一番です。

来週火曜は独立記念日。そのプレイベントだったのだとおもいます。アメリカに住んでるみなさんは素敵な週末を！

I watched the first fireworks of the year / in the U.S. last night!

I was walking along the river, and coincidentally this fireworks started on the other side of the river – from NJ. It was only for about 20 mins or so, but it looked beautiful over the river and it was very refreshing in the midsummer night.

Although it wasn’t as good as fireworks in my hometown for the big summer festival. I can’t wait to go back to Japan and see the festival again ❤
