English follows Japanese (cover photo: my mom visited me for commencement)!
Already one week has passed after the commencement! Now that I look back my puzzle-looking Google calendar leading up to the commencement, I have no idea how I survived the end-of-the-year mess. I am so happy I don’t need to tackle those school mess anymore! (I know, I have to deal with more complicated real world from now on…)
After the commencement, I went on a mini graduation trip with my close musician friends to a small town called Montauk at the tip of Long Island. We planned nothing except for renting a car, reserving a Airbnb house, and headed there.
It was FANTASTIC to be able to think about nothing for 3-4 days while I was there! We cooked together, finished many beer bottles, and sightread a bit of music.
I took a walk to a harbor,
went to a local brewery,
and rest of our trip was just on the couch watching a Japanese TV show.
Now I am going to plan my summer which involves a lot of booking flights and packing. Wish me luck…!
Cheers,
Sumire
