１０月も残りわずかですが、みなさまいかがおすごしでしょうか。モントリオールの空港からこんにちは！

アンソニア・カルテットとしての活動が多くなってきた今学期ですが、２０日夜にはジュリアードで選抜グループ４組によるリサイタルがありました（今日のカバー写真です！）。モーツァルトの弦楽四重奏K.387 、通称”春”という曲を、日頃は４人で座って演奏するのがスタンダードなのですが、立って演奏してみました。より自由に動けてとても生き生きとした演奏ができたように感じます。

そして、昨夜から徹夜です。というのもカルテット皆で家を午前4時に発ち、今カナダのノヴァスコシアに向かっています。今モントリオール乗り換えで名物のベーグルを食べながら更新しています。

ここから２週間、世界遺産の街 LunenbergでDover Quartetという素晴らしいアンサンブルと一緒に室内楽を学びます。５年ぶりのカナダ、しかもとても美しい街で音楽に集中できるのがとっても楽しみです！

Hi from Montreal Airport eating a yummy smoked-salmon bagel!

The Ansonia Quartet had a fun (standing-for-the-first-time!) performance of Mozart K.387 “Spring” at Juilliard on the 20th (as you can see in the cover photo), spent a day of recording and packing, and then stayed up all night to leave home together at 4am for a flight to Canada!

We are going to spend next two weeks together in Lunenberg, a world heritage site in Nova Scotia, to work with the wonderful Dover Quartet. We are very excited to get immersed in the beautiful scenery focusing on chamber music, and to try their lobsters…! 😛
