Landed in NYC | 冬のJFK

English follows Japanese!

ぶじにNYに着いた今、一番やりたいことは 部屋の片付け!!!

Hello from NYC!

It’s 7am in the morning – I couldn’t really get a good sleep after my international flight (it’s 9pm in Japan now) but it’s healthy this way to wake up early and hopefully sleep early, right? I hope to keep up with this schedule for at least a week.

I have a great skill of falling asleep anywhere anytime (except for now…), and I slept through the whole 12-hour flight on the way from Japan. I inflate my neck pillow, get a blanket, close my eyes, and I’m good to go.

My principle is not to sleep a lot on the day before the flight, and I get a quality sleep. Try it if you have trouble sleeping on a flight!

I was really worried about landing in JFK because it was temporary closed when I got on the plane, but I was so glad when I saw the flight map to see that we passed Chicago (where the same flight the day before landed).

There were so many snow shovel cars (I don’t know how it’s called) on the ground at the airport and I was just thinking how hard they worked overnight for everyone’s safety. I am so thankful to them.

Anyhow, I am back in NYC and ready to clean up my room before school starts! Excited to see my friends soon – I will fix my jet lag before that. Ciao!
